Questions

Do free turns refill?

Yes, a little. Every new player gets 25 free turns to start, with no card needed. After that you get 5 turns every day, and your story is always saved. A plan lets you play as much as you like.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Settings, Billing, or the billing page at any time. You keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for.

What happens to my saves?

Nothing is deleted. If you cancel or move to a plan with fewer save slots, the extra saves are hidden, not removed, and come back when you have the slots again.

Does a plan change the story?

No. Every plan uses the same narrator and the same world. A plan gives you more turns and more options, such as writing your own character.

What counts as a turn?

A turn is each time the narrator writes the next part of your story: speaking with someone, exploring a place, or making a choice. Fights, eating and resting, skill upgrades and managing your property do not use turns.

When do monthly turns refill?

On a rolling 30-day cycle that starts when you subscribe. Turns you do not use in a month do not carry over.

What is Own Key?

You connect your own account with an outside provider, and every turn runs on that account. You pay the provider directly for what you play, usually a small amount per turn, and $4.99 a month to us. Turns are unlimited. The guide shows you how to set it up in a few minutes.

Do pack turns expire?

No. Pack turns never expire and are used after your monthly turns, or after your free turns if you have no plan.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Switch on the billing page from Settings, Billing. You move to the new plan, you are never charged for two.

Which currencies?

Pounds, euros or dollars, based on your region, paid through Stripe. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.
